London-based Deco brought their upbeat indie-pop to Southampton for the first time, to perform at Heartbreakers. The band have had an incredible few years, playing festivals such as Y-Not and 110 Above, as well as support slots alongside the likes of Coasts and Depeche Mode.

They kicked off their set with Apollo, which got the crowd moving, followed by one of the band’s most popular releases – the incredibly catchy Chances. Other tracks performed included latest single Wild One, and newly-written Don’t Waste Your Time, likely to be released later this year. Their set closed with two older releases, Tell Me Lies and Turn Around.

Deco’s use of infectious guitar and electronics, fused with huge melodies just make you want to dance. Their polished performance is only enhanced by their clear passion for making music and performing together – and this positive energy was mirrored by the audience throughout this lively set.
