London-based singer-songwriter NYNA has released new track Silence. The follow-up to last summer’s debut Faces, the song is about letting go and accepting the things and people you can’t change.
With melting atmospheric soundscapes and hard hitting drums, NYNA’s music gives off a widescreen cinematic quality, and the electronic additions with her voice add a captivating haunting feel.
The artist started building her growing fanbase with covers of Hozier’s Take Me To Church and Adele’s I Miss You amassing over 132k plays. Having grown up listening to a range of artists such as Alanis Morrisette, Madonna and Nirvana the Serbian-born singer is influenced by the likes of Lana Del Ray, London Grammar, and Sia.
She’s one to keep an eye on, with new music and live dates to come later in 2018.
