Sheffield band RedFaces release new single Messed Up Feeling tomorrow. Produced by Carey Willetts (Athlete), the song is a driving, monster of a song, with nods to their RnB influences, with bass guitar and drums pushed right to the forefront.
The band – Harry Lyon, Isaac White, Charlie Yapp and Ryan Laycock – take their influences from the 50s and 60s through to today, by way of The Beatles, Hendrix, The Smiths and The Strokes. They made waves last year at a number of festivals including Community, Live at Leeds, The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Isle of Wight, TRNSMT and Kendall Calling, as well as support slots with DMA’s and a sold-out hometown show at Sheffield’s Plug.
They recently completed a headline UK tour, and several festival dates are already confirmed for later in the year, including Sound City (5 May), Tramlines Festival (21 July), and Y Not Festival (28 July).
