Ahead of the release of their second album in spring 2019, Icelandic electronic dream-pop outfit Vök have unveiled the video to latest single Night & Day.

The track has a crisp 1980s sound, with a video to match. About the visuals, singer Margrét Rán says: “We’ve never done an ‘old school’ band video and we thought we’d give it a try!” Director Geoff McAuliffe adds: “We feel that the video shows a glimpse of the essence of what the band is about, in the atmosphere of an 80’s TV studio type environment.”

Night & Day is the second single to be produced with James Earp (Bipolar Sunshine, Little Hours, Nina Nesbitt) and follows the release of earlier single Autopilot, which has already broken 500,000 streams on Spotify in just a few weeks. The singles are the band’s first new material since the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album Figure in 2017.
