Fans piled into Electric Brixton early to prepare themselves for what can only be described as an electric performance from Jordan Cardy AKA Rat Boy.
The crowd were treated by the sounds of Touts and US singer Grandson, both perfectly providing a beat for the young crowd to dance to, before Jordan and his band took to the stage.
Being compared to the likes of Jamie T, Rat Boy has gained a massive loving fan base through openingly singing about the relatable fears and problems of the current generation. His debut album SCUM, released only last year received generously favourable reviews with it’s snarky social commentary. But Rat Boy is infamously known for his live performances and we definitely discovered why. The energy in the room was undeniably infectious as young fans screamed, danced and moshed along with Jordan.
