Callum Burrows – best known as Saint Raymond – brought his UK tour to The Loft in Southampton for a packed-out show filled with dedicated fans who sang along to every single song.

The Nottingham-born singer arrived on stage with his band to cheers from the audience, before kicking off the set with one of his oldest releases Young Blood, which got the crowd instantly moving and chanting back the chorus. The set included songs from his debut album Young Blood, as well as 2017 EP, A Light That Blinds, including the ever-catchy I Want You and Nightcrawling. Latest single, Echo, released in October, was especially well received by the crowd.

Another of Saint Raymond’s oldest tracks, Fall At Your Feet, closed the first part of the show with a calypso vibe which kept the crowd dancing, followed by cheers for an encore. Saint Raymond returned for two solo performances of As We Are Now and Movie In My Mind, with the crowd singing back every single word, to which you could see the pure delight he felt. His band re-joined for the final two songs of the night, Bonfires and Ghosts.

The band were thoroughly enjoying themselves and seemed moved by the reactions from the crowd, particularly because it has been a while since the last Saint Raymond tour. But don’t despair if you’ve missed out on this latest round of dates – more shows have been announced for March 2019 in Brighton (1 March), London (2), Bristol (6) and Manchester (7) – tickets here.

Setlist: Young Blood / Everything She Wants / Younger / I Want You / Echo / Dancing / Nightcrawling / Wild Heart / Carried Away / Come Back to You / Fall At Your Feet // As We Are Now (solo) / Movie In My Mind (solo) / Bonfires / Ghosts
