Pop outfit The Aces returned to London this time to sing songs from their debut album When My Heart Felt Volcanic to an adoring audience at Camden’s Dingwalls.
This show marked the last leg of the UK stretch of their tour and the final show supported by London band Luna Bay, who kicked off the night and perfectly hyped up the crowd for the main act from Utah.
Since 2017, The Aces have been on a rollercoaster. They released their I Don’t Like Being Honest EP in July and less than a year later their debut LP hit the shelves. With smiles, The Aces began their set with Put It On The Line, before performing tracks from the album – an album filled with radio-worthy tunes and catchy choruses that you can’t help but scream along to.
The four-piece comprises of sisters Cristal Ramirez (lead vocals, guitar), Alisa Ramirez (drummer), Katie Henderson (guitarist), and McKenna Petty (bassist). But on a Tuesday night in London, The Aces were no longer just a four member band, as every single person in Dingwalls sang along and danced along to Alisa’s drum beat.
Both Katie and Cristal tried to express how thankful they were for the support and how much the band love London. Well one thing is for certain… London loves you too.
