It’s been one hell of a year for the indie world and definitely one hell of a year for four-piece London band Wolf Alice. To tie off 2018, this year’s Mercury Prize winners sold out not one but two nights at the O2 Academy Brixton.

The crowd was a mix of music lovers of all ages; proof that Wolf Alice are not just a band with appeal amongst just one generation, nor are they ‘just another guitar band’. Ending the year on a high, they celebrate how far they’ve come and prove they are an inspiration for a new generation of bands.

Bringing friends out to support on tour, the first night at Brixton also saw the unapologetically loud London duo Nova Twins and American band Surfbort take to the stage.
