One of our favourite new bands to emerge during 2018 was Sun Silva, a very fine four-piece whose accomplished songwriting and live performance belies their newcomer status. They’ve spent the best part of a couple of years fine-tuning their sound and it has been time very well spent. Debut tune Blue Light has earned them well-deserved plaudits – as well as a place on the playlist for the FIFA 19 videogame.
For us, this track is an absolutely huge statement of intent from a band that, based on the quality of tunes we’ve heard from them during a couple of their live shows this year, will figure prominently for us in 2019.
