Staggering to think that it has been a quarter of a century since indie legends Snow Patrol first hit the scene. Latest album Wildness is their first in seven years though, and they performed plenty of their new material – as well as the old favourites of course – during their set at Bournemouth’s International Centre.

Since their 1998 debut LP, Songs for Polarbears, Snow Patrol have racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades, including 15 million global album sales, 1+ billion global track streams, five UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominated.

Frontman Gary Lightbody has been a busy chap with other projects in recent years too, including some high-profile co-writes with the likes Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Biffy Clyro.
