Dermot Kennedy appeared on stage in a cloud of smoke leaving just his silhouette to be seen, causing more than a little excitement in the crowd. He began by giving it his all and really interacting with the crowd whilst they sang back. Two songs in and he grabbed a guitar labelled ‘We want this to be good’ and it sure was.
As the lights flashed and and his presence lit up the room, more and more of the crowd were singing back swaying to the calm melodies of Kennedy.
Support act Luca Fogale was welcomed with a huge cheer by the Birmingham crowd and this continued throughout his set. He graced the crowd with some wonderful acoustic sound playing guitar and piano. After his 30-minute set the crowd were very lively and ready for Dermot Kennedy to come on stage.
