Neighbourhood Weekender is back and the line-up really is something. Taking place in Victoria Park, Warrington, on 25 and 26 May, with headliners including George Ezra and Richard Ashcroft. Primal Scream and The Vaccines are also on the bill. This is one not to miss, so it’s a bit of luck for you dear reader that there are still tickets available at time of writing!
Richard Ashcroft was first famous for fronting The Verve and one of the most iconic songs of all time, Bittersweet Symphony, but he is also established as a solo artist. He has released 5 studio albums, with Natural Rebel being his latest one.

George Ezra is one of the nicest men in pop and his songs are even nicer. With hits like Shotgun, Budapest, Barcelona and Blame It On Me, you’ll be singing along in no time!

The Vaccines are also hitmakers with a wealth of anthemic songs in their armoury. One of the best live bands we have, they recently toured the UK and this would be a great opportunity to catch their loud, voracious tracks. They’ll be airing tunes from latest album Combat Sports.

Slaves are a cheeky, contempoprary punk duo. Everybody loves them, and latest album Acts of Fear and Love reveals just what they’re about.

Yonaka (named for the Japanese word meaning “dead of the night”) are a Brighton band with debut album Don’t Wait Til Tomorrow coming out at the end of the month. Their live shows are truly exhilarating.
