Manchester-born singer-songwriter JJ Rosa played a sold out show at Yamaha Music London on 7/11. The intimate show was a showcase to release new single Pandora that would be out the next day. Despite the size of the room, there are people standing in every corner, with a drink in their hand, ready more than ever to JJ’s arrival.
Her sound is a unique mix, full of punchy grooves and drenched in attitude; her songs are catchy as hell, sexy and full of raw emotions. She is a guitar wizard and her fingers are moving faster along the guitar’s keyboard and her powrdful and emotional vocals became the background of the night.
JJ’s song writing paints something sexual yet deep and emotional, her groove heavy beats and her guitar elements jumps from clean cutting to screaming solo sounds in mere seconds.
Her affair with music started by playing piano and singing in her theatre school choir at the age of seven; several years later she found her love for electric guitar and never stopped.
JJ has also been getting herself a great name on the live festival circuit having opened for Stevie Wonder and performed in a lot of festivals in the UK, Europe and New York. She is an incredible artist and her energy gets you so involved that you can’t take your eyes off of her.
Pandora is available to stream now on all the music platforms – keep your eyes peeled for more JJ Rosa!
